Volunteer with Us!
Volunteering with CCS provides an opportunity to learn new skills and to develop existing ones. All volunteers get to attend exciting events, meet new people and personalities and are provided certificates at the end of the term. What volunteers do at CCS is unique and expands the participant’s knowledge expanse. With so many different volunteering opportunities on offer at the Centre, there's bound to be something to suit you.
Volunteering at CCS varies from promotion and advocacy of CCS campaigns, media interaction, event management, visits to educational institutions and campuses for presentations, conducting telephone interviews, word processing, file management, updating database information.

SCHOOL CHOICE CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS 2011
OFFICE ASSISTANT (1 POSITION)
Roles: Set up of a proper filing/indexing system for
both hardcopy and softcopy of SCC files. Classification of data inside
proper folders (softcopy). Documentation of the filing system for easy
navigation
Profile: MS office knowledge (word, excel, ppt and access)
Duration: 1-1.5 months
Starting dates: Open
RESEARCH ASSISTANT (3 POSITIONS)
Roles: Research and Database creation on:
- All schools in Delhi (private and government)
- Government Education Departments
- Education Consultants
- Colleges (Private and Government)
- NGOs working on education (from NCR)
- Experts / Scholars (Education
Profile: Excellent Internet navigation skills and understanding
of the education sector and the Inidan Government set up.
Duration: 2 weeks
Starting dates: As early as possible
NOTE: For all positions, hours a day options are:
• 3-4 hrs daily
• 3-4 hrs on alternate days
• 8 hrs daily on alternate days
• 8 hrs daily
• Project based
• Variable
Office timings are between 9 AM to 7 PM. The volunteers (except for the field workers) will be based in CCS office. Each volunteer will work under the supervision of a full time staff.
